ValguLoc®
ValguLoc®
The ValguLoc bunion splint immobilizes the big toe to provide misalignment correction for genetic or acquired hallux valgus (bunion) as part of conservative treatment before or after surgery. With an anatomically contoured design, soft cushioning, and straps, the ValguLoc is an easy-to-wear toe splint throughout recovery. The rigid splint is designed to be worn during rest or at night.
• Relieves toe pain and counteracts further misalignments
• Adjustable Velcro strap helps to easily set the correction pressure
• Easy to put on and take off
• Softly cushioned night-time bunion splint
Living with toe bunion(s) can be incredibly painful and limiting for your lifestyle. Don't spend another day dodging the issue! The ValguLoc's anatomically contoured design applies a slight force to keep the toe on the correct axis while stretching shortened parts of the capsule and soft tissues. The splint helps protect the big toe from mechanical forces and avoid loss of correction due to scar formation. Whether for a genetic or developed bunion, Bauerfeind's ValguLoc comfortably supports the aligned position to help with recovery.
Works best during rest
ValguLoc is best used during rest, as the anatomically contoured bunion splint is designed to immobilize and align your toe and cannot be used while walking. Its low-fatigue cushioning protects against pressure points to increase wearing comfort. Additionally, the half-shell construction provides protection against external hazards.
